HISTORY OF VIETNAM TEACHER'S DAY

In the early days of November, the teachers in all schools in the country is vibrant with movement, emulating good teaching activities to celebrate the day "festival" of the teachers - who are in education work.

In Spring 1953, Vietnam delegation by Vice Minister of National Education Minister Nguyen Khanh Toan made the delegation attended the meeting important admitted trade union education in some countries FISE held in Vienna (the capital of Austria ), including the Vietnam Trade Union Education. The day after the country was unified, teaching about Vietnam to build unity by way of education of the Communist Party of Vietnam in accordance with socialist orientation. The contents of Decision No. 167-Council of Ministers has the following terms:
Article 1: From now on that each year will take 20^th November days for Vietnamese teachers .
Article 2: To date 20^th November have practical significance that each year in October from the authorities and the whole should meet to review the situation and activities of teachers in their locality, a review of work done and work out what level to continue to encourage teachers to promote the fine traditions of Vietnam's education and training quality and force and an example for students to follow. To the teachers, there needs to have diverse activities to raise awareness about the honor and responsibilities of teachers in today's society our country, thereby making every effort to do that good of his noble mission .

Article 3: The organization of day that each year 20^th November by the People's Committee and chaired the Council level, with the combination of education and the mass. The need for the sector assigned to officials asked teachers to organize informal meetings with teachers, this opportunity can organize teachers reward achievements.
The organization of teachers should be conducted in Vietnam and practical importance, avoid ostentatious causing inconvenience to students and parents.

Article 4: In 20^th November days the school can rearrange the learning and teaching for teachers to stay and participate in school activities and local levels.
